Mood Board and Colour Board for design project

Ummm still not too used to this blogging thing but I think if I put up some pretty pictures then it'll all be fine :s 

Sooooo for design we got told we could pick our own theme to create 10 design illustrations out of....

TA DA here is my mood board for the theme if you can guess what it is you win a prize.... 

Yep it's absinthe :) The prize you win is knowing what the heck I'm going on about for the next couple of paragraphs :)

I figures absinthe has to include designs that use the colour green but I also like the art deco aspect to I added some turquoise and blue in there too. I also like the decadent aspect of gold in art deco, not too much though but I'd like to add some in my designs.

I then got thinking about my illustration and figured my models should be done in an art deco way too. I came across this guy Erte

So far I have these which aren't very good but I hope to improve....

Aaaanywho I guess that's about it. Off to do more designs now :)
